Barcelona
Espacio Inmersa · Poblenou
Carrer de Llull 119, Barcelona
The main summit and honours edition, under the theme The Architecture of Transformation.
A summit and honours for leaders who led a lasting transformation, and enterprises that carried it through. Two city editions. One evidence-led selection framework.
Nominations open 19 November 2026 · Nomination and selection are free
The Architects brings business leaders and enterprises together to examine what makes a transformation last.
Some organisations change their business model. Others move a technology from experiment into daily operations, enter new markets, or guide a workforce through difficult change. The 2027 programme recognises the people who led those choices and the enterprises that turned them into measurable outcomes.
The theme, The Architecture of Transformation, takes its cue from Barcelona: lasting structures are planned, built and tested. The same idea applies to organisations.
The same award framework travels across both city editions. The date shown for London is the month only; the exact day will be announced separately.

The London edition follows Barcelona. The event date and detailed programme will be announced when confirmed.
Leadership and organisational change are assessed on separate indices. A strong company record does not substitute for evidence about an individual’s leadership, or vice versa.
For founders, chairpersons, chief executives, CXOs and business heads who led a defined transformation in an organisation.
For public or private companies and brands that can show a meaningful shift in their business, operations or markets.
The jury makes award decisions. A nomination, social post, event attendance or paid package does not guarantee a title.
For the 2027 series, GCEIP recognises no more than one awardee in each industry. The nomination kit will explain how an industry is classified within the six transformation fields and how regional and World distinctions apply to that selected honouree.
Each nomination is considered in the field that best describes the transformation being evidenced.
A change in what the organisation offers, how it earns or where it competes.
Digital systems or AI adopted in the operating model, customer experience or growth engine.
Measured decarbonisation, resource change or growth linked to the energy transition.
Building capability and carrying people through organisational change.
Entering markets, crossing borders or building a business across regions.
Organisational change with outcomes for communities or public priorities.
Legacy of Transformation · Next-Generation Transformational Leader (under 40) · Women Transforming Industries · The Bridge Award for a leader or enterprise that built a lasting partnership between two or more regions.
Special Honours are decided by the Grand Jury. Their final availability and eligibility rules will be included in the nomination kit.
Assessors review the change and its outcomes over the most recent 24 to 36 months. Leaders and enterprises receive separate scores out of 100.
Financial and operating outcomes linked to the period and the transformation.
Published disclosures, reports and other material that can be checked.
Customer, market and third-party information, considered alongside the nominee’s account.
The nomination kit explains the evidence requested and the participation terms. GCEIP may verify claims, request clarification or stop a nomination that does not clear integrity screening.
The same steps apply to the leader and enterprise assessments.
Self-nominations, peer nominations and research-desk nominations use the same nomination route.
GCEIP checks eligibility, evidence integrity and material reputational or governance issues.
Two assessors review the submission against the relevant index and record their scores.
Regional juries review evidence and confirm regional titles. The Grand Jury chooses World titles and Special Honours.
Selected honourees are notified, then receive information about event participation and any optional package.
To be considered for an event invitation, the founder or nominated leader is asked to post about the nomination on LinkedIn or another social platform and tag GCEIP. That post is an invitation condition; its reach and content are not part of the assessment score.
Nomination, assessment and jury selection are free. Any paid recognition or marketing package is offered after selection and paid in advance. Buying a package cannot change the result or secure an award.
The programme pairs the award with editorial and marketing material that lets leaders and enterprises explain what changed and why it mattered.
For selected honourees who need material for business development without event attendance. The package includes an assessment summary, approved marketing badge, an editorial feature beyond the complimentary nomination story, designed ePDF, social assets and written usage guidance.
The attendance package includes participation in the chosen edition, recognition for the selected title, content and editorial, and event video and photo assets. The no-attendance award option includes the award and badge only.
Use the assets as supporting material in targeted buyer outreach. They give a sales conversation a clear account of who was recognised, what the organisation changed and what evidence informed the assessment.
Link to the editorial story in a tailored introduction to a prospect, channel partner or potential customer. It gives the recipient a concise account of the company and its work.
Share the ePDF or assessment summary after a relevant meeting. Use it to support the discussion about the company’s capabilities and transformation.
With the approved usage rights, place the badge and editorial link in proposals, sales decks, company profiles and LinkedIn posts. Attendance clients can add their event video and photos.
These assets support sales conversations; they do not guarantee leads, meetings, conversion or revenue. Use the award wording and badge only within the written rights. GCEIP recognition does not endorse a company’s products or guarantee commercial performance.
Editorial stories are prepared with nominee input and fact-checking. GCEIP retains editorial responsibility. Any paid package, deliverables, rights and timing are set out in the written offer sent to selected honourees.
Barcelona dates are set by month; the exact event day is still to be announced. The published timetable will be updated as details are confirmed.
The current outline runs from a morning summit through afternoon roundtables and interviews to an evening honours programme. Session titles and timing remain indicative until the final programme is issued.
Leaders who have led a defined organisational transformation and enterprises that can evidence a meaningful change in their business model, operations or markets. Public and private companies of any size may be considered.

The current schedule gives Barcelona in April 2027 and London in September 2027. The exact days will be published when confirmed.
